Here's to 10 Years of Adventures!

Today marks a very special occasion in the Jake and Jill Adventure Saga, because it is our 10-year anniversary of these here adventures! By that I mean the adventure of marriage. Yes, today is our anniversary of when we got hitched, I can't believe how much we've grown! And also, how is it that 10 years have already passed? Time never ceases [to amaze].

Traditionally, the 10 year anniversary is celebrated with a "tin or aluminum" gift. I'm not exactly sure why, perhaps a move to introduce spending money in the economy with Anniversary gifts? I think its more of the representation of tin, in that you can store anything to preserve from decay. Its an analogy of the relationship reaching a milestone. The modern take is a gift of diamonds. YES PLEASE! Diamonds are a symbol of true love. I guess we should have saved up our pennies over these past years! ;)

The memories are more precious than any gem (though I wouldn't mind a diamond or two -- wink wink Jake) and we want to share some of our favorites! Jake and I have come such a long way, and crossed many paths in that time. So this blog is a highlight of the best of 10 years, hopefully many more to come!

TEN YEARS -- WOW!! I can hardly believe it has been that long! All the places you two have travelled to! I have no idea how you two have done all the amazing things you have done. You give the rest of us things to which we can aspire. Perhaps some day I, too, shall travel! You two also have taken superb photographs and have treated us to your great writing. Keep it up!
